Fall favorites make a comeback on PMG

While peaches maintained their No. 1 spot on PMG the week of Aug. 24, the rest of the top 20 saw some shuffling as fall items rejoined the list. Italian prune plums moved up a spot from the previous week to No. 2, cucumbers dropped to No. 3, sweet potatoes rejoined the list at No. 4, and okra moved up a spot to complete the top 5.

The PMG platform connects produce buyers and sellers. Below, find the top 20 searched commodities on PMG during the week of Aug. 24.

Chili peppers dropped to No. 6 from No. 4 the previous week, and beans dropped two places to No. 7. Plums shot up to No. 8 from No. 19, and pears made a comeback at No. 9. Figs fell to No. 10 from No. 8 the week before.

Yellow plums fell a couple of spots to No. 11, and tomatoes fell five places to No. 12. Lettuce slipped a spot to No. 13, and pumpkins rejoined the list at No. 14. Dragon fruit also reappeared, at No. 15.

Lemons rose two places to No. 16, while pickling cucumbers fell from No. 10 to No. 17. Mangoes slipped to No. 18 from No. 15 the week before, and watermelon moved up one spot to No. 19. Garlic rejoined the list to round out the top 20.
