Tasteful Selections selected “adventure in a small bite” as the next theme of its Small-Bite campaign for the Arvin, Calif.-based company’s bite-sized potatoes.

“When you first set off for an adventure, food is one of the first items you think to bring along,” RPE marketing director Tim Huffcutt said in a news release. “Nutritious, convenient and versatile, Tasteful Selections bite-size potatoes are the perfect addition to your travel pack.”

Tasteful Selections is a vertically integrated collection of farms focusing on the bite-size potato category. RPE is a grower-shipper of potatoes and onions, and the exclusive sales and marketing partner of Tasteful Selections’ bite-size potatoes.

Huffcutt said the bite-sized potatoes can be a travel ingredient using the company’s new recipes, such as:

  • Peanut butter, bacon sweet potato bites;
  • Trail spud pizza; and
  • Campfire potato nachos.

In this new theme, consumers can win an adventure package, which includes potatoes, a national park pass, a portable Coleman gas stove and a camping cookware utensil kit.

“We want to share just how versatile and fun recipes are with bite-size potatoes,” RPE president Russell Wysocki said in the release.
